New Show!! ‘How Soon Is Now?’ is a weekly show that will give insight into the current goings on in the Melbourne Music Scene. With friends Nelson, Darby and Jesse, the trio will play music from a wide range of genres, exposing listeners to new and emerging artists, with some old favourites as well.

‘How Soon is Now?’ will also host interviews with many of the artists they play, providing insight and some stories of what its like to operate as a musician within the City of Melbourne.

We want you to capture the sound from a moment in time – the ambient din of a shopping complex, a train arriving at your local station, birds chattering in a nearby tree, crashing waves on a coastline, cheering at a football match, raindrops as they hit your window – surprise us!

Whether it’s in Carrum, the surrounding suburbs, on the Mornington Peninsula, greater Victoria, Australian cities or far-flung parts of our vast country and world. Wherever you are in the world, we want to hear what it sounds like!

You don’t need to be an expert or have the fanciest gear to submit something – you can just use your phone!

If you want to participate, please submit a recording using the link below. Your recording will be streamed and credited on Radio Carrum. Submissions should be ambient, environmental noise, 1-2 minutes long.
