On Monday 8 September, the 2014 ResourceSmart Schools Awards were held at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Carrum PS students presented a Live broadcast of their Radio Carrum show ‘Big Green Planet’ at the Awards. They interviewed two environment stars – Kirsty Costa from CERES and Stan Krpan, CEO of Sustainability Victoria. Great News!! Carrum PS is a Finalist in the 2014 ResourceSmart Schools Awards in the category ‘Community Leadership School of the Year’. Sustainability Victoria’s Award Ceremony will be held on Monday, 8 September at the Melbourne Convention Centre. In an added bonus, our students have been invited to present a broadcast of their Radio Carrum show ‘Big Green Planet’, Live from the Awards. It’s going to be an amazing day!!
