Hey folks, we chatted with the amazing DAVE GRANEY about the 30th Anniversary of “The Soft & Sexy Sound” album, his experiences in the Melbourne music scene on the early 1980s with The Moodists, playing on the BBC’s John Peel Show, some of the amazing musicians he has played with, including Dave McClymont & Malcolm Ross from Orange Juice, Conway Savage, and lots more! The cool story behind his classic “Three Dead Passengers in a Stolen Second Hand Ford” from the brilliant ‘Night of the Wolverine’ album, his involvement with the Gene Clark Tribute Album “You Can’t Hide Your Love Forever”, and his remarkable passion to seek out and engage with music communities across all parts of Australia.
